My mother is Irish—which makes me Irish as well!

One of my favorite blessings is The Irish Blessing, is a favorite benediction of my forefathers—and so appropriate for St. Patrick’s Day!

It is a great blessing for everyone—even if you aren’t Irish!

An Irish Blessing

May God give you…

For every storm, a rainbow,

For every tear, a smile,

For every care a promise,

And a blessing in each trial.

For every problem life sends,

A faithful friend to share,

For every sigh a sweet song,

And an answer for each prayer.
