Our habits reveal who we are to the world. Good or bad, our habits reflect our values, our beliefs, and the way we live them out.
The world judges us by what we say and how we act: our habits.
As Christians, we must develop good habits.
Branch Living is designed to help those already in the faith and those seeking to learn more about the faith to set goals in the following areas: Bonding with God, Relationships, Almsgiving, New/ Renew, and Church. But, often there are habits we want to adopt—or to break—that does not fit neatly into one of these categories. The Habits category was created to serve as a “net” to catch these as well.
Do you want to improve your knowledge? Take a course? Join a women’s book club? These are goals that can fit here.
Do you want to have better self control? To lose weight? Exercise more? Stop swearing? This is you place for these goals. They also could fall under New/ Renew. There is no “right” place. But, if you didn’t consider them during the other sections, place them here
It doesn’t matter WHERE your goals fall—just that you write them down, track them, and complete what you set out to do.
The Habits section gives you time and a place to reflect on goals you have set up to this point and to see what is missing.
Habits are powerful. They build lives. They break lives.
Set goals to build good habits. Make this the year you turn the corner for good in some way!
